
F.A.C.T UNDERGO A NEW FACELIFT!
(6th March 2006) Malaysian guru of hairdressing Winnie Loo of the A Cut Above Group of Salons & Academy today announced the official take over of the local fashion institute, F.A.C.T (Fashion Academy of Creative Technology) together with the joint partnership of Melvin Lam of the Malaysian’s fashion, communication and F&B fame, bringing under their wing another all round industry-based ventures after the repeated successful establishment of the prominent A Cut Above brand name and fashion icons such as Carven Ong & Tai Tai Restaurant Boutique.
It will be truly a joint venture that spark many new flames between the two, as Winnie Loo, whom is already so well known in her field as the veteran master in creative hairdressing and education, teams up with Melvin Lam, whom on the other hand is affluent with his own field of fashion, retail and entrepreneurship as well as media and lifestyle, working hand in hand to give FACT a new direction of objectives, goals and future achievements.
“We are both very excited at the idea of being able to work on such potentially big project and being experienced ourselves in our respective fields, we are confident that our mutual objectives and common interest towards the fashion, beauty, lifestyle and entrepreneur business will help us transit this passion into creating a new batch of graduates that is not only well equipped with the knowledge of fashion, designs, beauty, professional grooming and lifestyle but also the inevitable sector of business, management and marketing entrepreneurship” says Winnie Loo when being interviewed.
“We will introduce new programs such as hairdressing, personal make up and grooming courses as well as substantial business and management subjects into the existing course structure to give it an all round competency to prepare our graduates for a better understanding of how the industry work” Melvin Lam added on.
